I’m a print turned digital designer with 20 years of experience across disciplines. I enjoy working on a variety of projects from ideation to development. Being a human-centered designer, I am able to take a client brief and deliver a product that not only looks good but connects the user with their needs.
Constantly learning is important to me. I follow designers on Medium, social media and read daily newsletters for industry news and inspiration. For a deeper understanding of new tools I attend workshops and virtual courses. I’m about to start a course on AI for UX Design with Designlab in July.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time outside. My inspiration often comes from nature – textures, color, shapes, etc.
my values

Empathize – It’s important to understand who we are designing for and their needs.

Be Intentional – Designers don’t just make things look pretty. Each choice should serve a purpose.

Stay Curious – Embrace the shift of constantly changing design tools, platforms and expectations.

Be Creative – Don’t just solve problems, design the most interesting solutions.
What i’m drawing
One way I keep creativity flowing is by illustrating as a hobby. I participate in Inktober challenges with a fairly consistent theme of animal fun facts. Check out my art account if you’re into that sort of thing.
